Ultimate Spider-Man is a 2006 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. Directed by Michael Bay and written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, it is the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It stars Justin Long, Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, Christina Applegate, Anna Diop, Brandon Routh, Colin Farrell, Tyrese Gibson, Breckin Meyer, Joaquin Phoenix, Gary Oldman, Ben Stiller, Bill Murray and Julie White. The plot of the film follows the teenager Peter Parker who gains spider-like abilities and fights crime as Spider-Man, while also attempting to live an ordinary life.

X-Men: Evolution (2006)

X-Men: Evolution is a 2006 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the X-Men. Directed by Gavin Hood and written by David Benioff and Skip Woods, the film stars an ensemble cast led by Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Famke Janssen, Kelsey Grammer, Ben Foster, Kerr Smith, Rebecca Romijn, Ray Park, Matt Flett, Fairuza Balk, Vinnie Jones and Olivia Williams. It is the third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). X-Men: Evolution is set primarily in 2002 during the war on terror, and focuses on the relationship between Charles Xavier and Max Eisenhardt/Magneto, and the origin of their groups—the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants, respectively.

The Hulk is a 2005 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The film was directed by Bryan Singer and written by Dan Harris, Michael Dougherty and Zak Penn. Edward Norton stars as Bruce Banner and The Incredible Hulk, alongside Liv Tyler, Harrison Ford, Adrian Pasdar and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The film explores Bruce Banner's origins. After a lab accident involving gamma radiation, he transforms into a giant green-skinned humanoid with superhuman strength known as the Hulk whenever stressed or emotionally provoked. The United States military pursues him, and he clashes with his biological father.

The Invincible Iron-Man (2005)

The Invincible Iron-Man is a 2005 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Iron-Man. Produced by Marvel Entertainment and distributed by DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures, it is the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Directed by Jon Favreau and written by the teams of Mark Fergus & Hawk Ostby and Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, the film stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron-Man alongside Terrence Howard, Wynn Everett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tony Leung and Karel Roden. In the film, world-famous industrialist and master engineer Stark builds a mechanized suit of armor to escape from captivity by a terrorist group, and then uses the suit to become the superhero Iron-Man.
