Thor has a high level of pride in himself and has a hard time admitting when he does something wrong. He also sometimes overestimates his own power at times, such as when being turned into a frog, declaring Loki would face his wrath.
After listening to Chargeshock's pragmatic and compassionate advice, Thor learns the value of modesty. He becomes more humble and begins to see mortals not just as protected, but as equals and friends, becoming a much-needed ally.
