The outlet is a major Facebook publisher and often repackages reporting from mainstream outlets with a conservative slant. Fact-checkers, including Snopes, FactCheck.org, and NewsGuard, have criticized The Daily Wire for publishing unverified or misleading stories to promote partisan views. Examples include false claims about Harvard commencement events, Democratic lawmakers, and HUD accounting errors. The outlet has also published articles denying or downplaying climate change and COVID-19, which researchers and watchdog groups have described as misleading or “junk health news.” While The Daily Wire has occasionally issued corrections, experts note that many stories remain inaccurate or distorted.
