Maria Helena Pader y Terry is a brazilian actress, voice actress, radio broadcaster and announcer. On television she is remembered for unlikeable and very gossipy characters such as Zuleika Gomes in "Baila Comigo" (1981), Palmira Cantanhede in "Corpo a Corpo" (1984), Júlia in "O Rei do Gado" (1996) and Leontina in "Lara com Z" (2011). She has worked with several authors, including Gilberto Braga, Manoel Carlos and Benedito Ruy Barbosa.
As a voice actress, she began working in the 1970s and built an extensive resume, mainly at the Herbert Richers company. Notable roles include Fran from "Dinosaurs", Mrs. Medlock in the animated film "The Secret Garden", Cruella de Vil in the animated series and films "101 Dalmatians" and "102 Dalmatians", Anjelica Huston in films such as "The Addams Family", Sarabi in "The Lion King" and Evelyn Harper (Holland Taylor), mother of Charlie (Charlie Sheen) and Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) in the award-winning series "Two and a Half Men".
She was nominated for Best Supporting Voice Actress at the 2005 Yamato Awards for her work in the first season of the series "Without a Trace".
