Lahwhinie is the main villainess from "Gadget Goes Hawaiian," episode 2.33 of Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers (airdate December 21, 1989). Lahwhinie is introduced as the chosen queen of a Hawaiian mouse tribe, mainly due to the fact that she is able to prevent the eruption of a nearby man-made volcano. As her introduction showed, Lahwhinie discovered the control valve and used it to control her tribe, who worshipped her as a result. The tribe's leader was set to crown Lahwhinie, but not before she undergoes a triumvirate of dangerous tests: crossing a lobster tank, walking over the "coals of catastrophe," and riding the "waves of doom."
