Jax Payne (born in Las Vegas, Nevada) is the son of an influential American casino and hotel tycoon who owns luxury hotels in Las Vegas, with close business ties and family secrets to Nicholas Osborn. He is Tessa Márquez's ex-boyfriend and the one with whom Jake's ex-girlfriend, Chloé cheated on Jake four times, quickly becoming one of the most hated supporting characters in their entourage.
Physical Appearance
Jax has the typical appearance of a rebellious model and party animal. He is tall, has dark brown hair, cut in a modern style, always styled with gel, and piercing, but often arrogant green eyes. He wears extremely expensive designer clothes – usually designer leather jackets over plain T-shirts, ripped jeans, and luxury watches inherited from his father. He has a smug smile that exudes infatuation and instantly annoys those around him.
Personality
Jax is the definition of superficiality, selfishness, and narcissism. Used to his father's money getting him out of any problem, he believes that everything and everyone has a price. He is charismatic and knows how to manipulate girls with cheap lines and empty promises, but he is completely devoid of loyalty and honor.
He has no respect for concepts such as loyalty or the feelings of others. For him, the relationship with Tessa was just a trophy, and the affair with Chloé was a simple power play and a few nights of fun in exclusive clubs in Vegas. When things get serious or dangerous, Jax is a coward; he hides behind his bodyguards or his father's and refuses to take responsibility for taking care of him.
Relationship with Chloé and Betrayal
Jax saw in Jake's ex-girlfriend Chloé his perfect feminine version: an equally spoiled and eager for attention rich girl. He didn't care for a second that she was with Jake or that he was hurting Tessa. After Jake caught them in the act and threw them both out, Jax demonstrated how much of a coward he was, abandoning Chloé without caring about her tantrums, returning to his carefree life in Vegas as if nothing had happened.
