Jason R. Reitmanย (ย /หraษชtmษn/; born October 19, 1977)ย is a Canadian and American filmmaker. He is best known for directing the filmsย Thank You for Smokingย (2005),ย Junoย (2007),ย Up in the Airย (2009),ย Young Adultย (2011),ย Ghostbusters: Afterlifeย (2021), andย Saturday Nightย (2024). He has received oneย Grammy Award, oneย Golden Globeย and fourย Academy Awardย nominations, two forย Best Director. He is the son of directorย Ivan Reitman. He is known for frequently collaborating with screenwriterย Diablo Codyย and directorย Gil Kenan.
