Jason Staehler Hill is an American film score composer, record producer, songwriter, mixer and multi-instrumentalist. In 2014, Hill began his work as a film score composer, working with director David Fincher on the critically acclaimed motion picture Gone Girl. He was tasked to produce a new film version of the Charles Aznavour 1974 French classic "She" which featured a Hill penned orchestral and chorale arrangement along with Richard Butler (The Psychedelic Furs) on vocals [2]. This version was also used as the teaser and trailer for the film. He was then asked to score Fincher's HBO'S Videosyncrasy, and Emmy nominated Netflix series Mindhunter[3][4]. Hill was also the original music composer on FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened [5]released in January 2019 directed by Chris Smith and is the most watched documentary film to date on Netflix. He is also working on a Showtime series called Couples Therapy, a Netflix Original Series about Henry Lee Lucas, and on Mindhunter Season 2, also on Netflix. All to be released in 2019.[6]He is also the lead singer, guitarist and producer for the band Louis XIV. He has produced records, or otherwise worked with, such artists as The Killers, David Bowie, Robbie Williams, Jet, Sky Ferreira, New York Dolls, Brandon Flowers, Ariel Pink, The Virgins, Macy Gray, Louis XIV, Vicky Cryer, Nick Littlemore and Luke Steele (Empire of the Sun), among many others and has sold over 15 million records to date.
