Gabriella Courtney Diamandis is a Scooby-Doo OC created by Pala Mepaj. Usually she simply goes by Gabriella "Gabi" Courtney, Courtney is her middle name. She's half Brazilian (from her maternal side and half Greek (from her paternal side). She's a new addition to Mystery Inc, and while she gets along well with all of them, she is best friends with Daphne due to their similar interests and the fact that they both have the reputation as the "pretty faces who get in trouble". The gang often go back to former locations for new mysteries and thus meet former friends and enemies like Vincent Van Ghoul, Miyumi from Samurai Sword, Daniel Illiwara, Shannon Blake, Jessica, Burt, Trudy, and Luke from Camp Scare, Crystal, Amber, and Max from Alien Invaders, etc. Gabi becomes friends with them, but also has developed crushes on some of the guys, most notably Daniel, Max, and Vincent. She eventually also falls for Melbourne O'Reilly, and when they go back to San Francisco, she and Julian Libris develop a thing for each other Gabi can speak fluent Greek and Portuguese, and when the gang go to Brazil for one of their mysteries, they all meet the Granadas (her family from her mom's side), mainly Iara Granada, who becomes a sidekick.
