Down in New Orleans

"Down in New Orleans" is a song featured in Disney's feature film, The Princess and the Frog and serves as the official theme for the film. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The prologue version is a short introduction song to set the mood of the film. The title song is used to introduce us to various characters such as Tiana, Prince Naveen, and Doctor Facilier. The final version acts as an epilogue, establishing where the major, living characters are by the end of the story. In Ralph Breaks the Internet, a slowed-down version is heard when Tiana appears to wake up Ralph.
