Danielle Hollander is the main character of Pala Mepaj's story "Danielle's Story" She hails from London, England. She is a famous model in the 1960s and 1970s. One day, Danielle is coming home from one of her modeling gigs. When she goes inside her home, she catches a man dressed in black, with a matching black cape and mask, going through her jewelry box. She recognizes the man as the infamous jewel thief known only as the Magician. He flirts with her and tries to charm her when she asks him what he's doing in her home and tells him to get lost, which he promptly does, but promises they will see each other in the future. Danielle, despite her reaction initially, thinks about him, and how she actually was charmed by the guy, but she hates it (she thinks he is a pest, an annoying criminal, yet even she admits that he's handsome). True to his word, they do cross paths again, multiple times. One day, a thug harasses her and the Magician comes to the rescue. From that day on, the two of them make a point of seeing each other on purpose. One day, while hanging out at Danielle's place, he reveals his real name is Percival Evans, and that he steals not because he's selfish or a bad person (he is actually a good guy), but because it's fun, for the thrill of it, and that his life has always been quite boring. Danielle and Percival become a couple, all while Scotland Yard is after him.
