During the fight against Ares and Circe, Donna throws herself in front of Diana, receiving a fatal blow meant for Wonder Woman, leading to her death. After the fight, Diana holds Donna's body in her arms Diana prays to the gods to bring Donna back to life, explaining that she is just a human child who has nothing to do with the war of the Olympian gods. The gods hear Diana and bless Donna, bringing her back to life.
