Young Cricket is a major character in the WarioWare series, first appearing in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. He is a martial artist and a WarioWare, Inc. employee who is obsessed with meat dumplings, and is the devoted apprentice of Master Mantis. His name may be a play on the phrase "patience, young grasshopper", originating from the 1972 television series Kung Fu.
