Son Gohan is a hero of the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the eldest son of Son Goku and Chi-Chi, and he appears for the first time at the start of Dragonball Z. He is considered the deuteragonist of Dragon Ball Z, while Goku is the main protagonist and Vegeta is the tritagonist. He is a supporting character of its sequel Dragon Ball Super (as his role of deuteragonist is passed on to Vegeta).
