Bramblecrest was the biggest chief in Echidna history, and the current one before Mephiles & Iblis attacked. To test Chaos’ resolve in his weakened state, he captured Bramblecrest and was about to stab him with his blade, shouting down a countdown to do it if Chaos, who Mephiles mocks as “the so-called god of destruction” (Chaos doesn’t like being called that), doesn’t get up without using the Emeralds. Chaos tried to force himself up without the Emeralds. But it was too late. The blade went through Bramblecrest, ending his life. Enraged, Gawain and Spearspine charged at Mephiles before he flew away.
