Fan Casting "Another Survivor from the planet Krypton" in Superman: Man of Steel (1991)

In the depths of space, two great sparks of light speeds past a sea of meteors. Soon, one of the sparks slows down, and we see that it's a young blonde-haired woman wearing an outfit similar to that of Superman's. Her name is Kara, Kal-El's cousin on Krypton, and she's just stopped to catch her breath. The reason for this soon shows itself as the first spark reappears in the form of Krypto, Kara's faithful white canine companion who barks at her to catch up. "I know, Krypto. Just let me catch my breath first." Krypto then pounces on her and begins licking her lovingly. "Alright. Alright Krypto, we'll have it your way." Krypto barks happily at this and speeds up ahead. Kara looks deep into space where her dog went and simply says "Next stop, planet Earth." and then speeds away to catch up to her loyal companion.
