In the corporate-controlled sprawl of Neo-Seoul 2099, Korean-Russian rooftop courier and parkour master Han Yul survives as a ghost in the city’s underworld, cleaning up bodies for gangsters while trying to bury the guilt of a past massacre that destroyed everyone he loved. But when he is framed for a new killing tied to a forbidden neural weapon, Yul is forced back into the vertical city he once ruled from above. A maze of skybridges, black-market fight clubs, corrupt police zones, political rallies, and gang-controlled underground districts. As every major power in Neo-Seoul turns against him, Yul becomes entangled with a mysterious corporate heir, a disgraced riot cop, a theatrical crime lord, a reckless young runner, and a rising political star whose clean public image hides a much darker agenda. Together and against each other, they are pulled into a conspiracy involving Seryeon Dynamics, the megacorporation behind the city’s neural implant system, and Jangseung, a secret predictive AI rumored to decide who gets protected, erased, or sacrificed for the city’s survival. When the streets begin transforming into violent death-game districts and ordinary citizens are pushed into brutal trials of loyalty, instinct, and survival, Yul must fight his way through gang wars, corporate assassins, political manipulation, and his own fractured memories to uncover why he was chosen as the city’s scapegoat. But the deeper he goes, the more Neo-Seoul itself seems to be watching him - and the closer he gets to a truth that could destroy the system, the city, and whatever remains of the person he used to be.
