Fan Casting Jamie Madrox in Rupert Wyatt's Gambit

A wiry, twitchy young mutant who can eject identical duplicates of himself from his body. Jamie runs petty scams with his scarred partner Mask, failing miserably at robbing a Zales jewelry store until Gambit takes pity on them. Recruited for the Thieves Ball heist, Jamie's powers become the film's visual centerpiece: Mask changes his face, and Jamie makes an army of copies — 150 Gambits dancing to Prince's "1999" during Mardi Gras. Manic, funny, and unexpectedly heroic, Jamie is the film's comic heart. He walks away with half a million dollars, asking, "Righteous. When's the next gig?"
