In the aftermath of Superman: Flyby, the world is still reeling from the devastation caused by Lex Luthor and Zod. Clark Kent, now a celebrated hero, struggles to balance his life as Superman with his responsibilities as a journalist. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne, still haunted by the death of his parents, continues his war on crime as Batman. In Metropolis, a new threat emerges in the form of Brainiac, a super-intelligent alien being who seeks to dominate Earth.
