Clark Kent, now a celebrated hero, struggles to balance his life as Superman with his responsibilities as a journalist. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne, still haunted by the death of his parents, continues his war on crime as Batman. In Metropolis, a new threat emerges in the form of Brainiac, a super-intelligent alien being who seeks to dominate Earth. Brainiac kidnaps Lois Lane and uses her as a bargaining chip to obtain Superman's Kryptonian technology. Batman, suspicious of Brainiac's intentions, decides to team up with the Man of Steel to stop the alien. Together, Superman and Batman recruit Wonder Woman, Princess Diana of Themyscira, who possesses superhuman strength, speed, and agility. They are also joined by the Flash, Barry Allen, a metahuman speedster, and the Martian Manhunter, J'onn J'onzz, an alien telepath and shapeshifter. United as the Justice League, the heroes confront Brainiac in an epic battle that takes them from Metropolis to Earth's orbit. The Justice League must use all of their skills and powers to defeat Brainiac, save Lois Lane, Earth, and the future of humanity.
