Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgård (Swedish: [ˈbɪlːˈskɑ̌ːʂɡoːɖ]; born 9 August 1990) is a Swedish actor. He is known for portraying Pennywise in the horror films It (2017) and It Chapter Two (2019), along with the 2025 prequel series It: Welcome to Derry. Other horror appearances were in the series Hemlock Grove (2013–2015) and Castle Rock (2018–2019) and the films Barbarian (2022) and Nosferatu (2024). Skarsgård has also appeared in the comedy Simple Simon (2010), the drama Nine Days (2020), and the action films The Divergent Series: Allegiant (2016), Atomic Blonde (2017), and John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023). Green Arrow follows Oliver Queen, a billionaire-turned-vigilante who has spent three years protecting Star City after surviving five years stranded on a deserted island. Using his fortune, cutting-edge technology, and unmatched archery skills, he wages war on corruption until a mysterious assassin known as Onomatopoeia steals his entire fortune, destroys his headquarters, and leaves him presumed dead. Stripped of his money, resources, and identity, Oliver is forced to survive with only a handful of arrows and the instincts he learned on the island. When he crosses paths with Black Canary, who is searching for her missing friend amid a string of disappearances targeting the city's most vulnerable citizens, the two reluctantly join forces to uncover a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of power. Their investigation leads them to the seemingly benevolent Count Vertigo, a pharmaceutical mogul secretly kidnapping people for illegal human experimentation while profiting from a citywide health crisis of his own making. After stopping Vertigo and saving Star City from catastrophe, Oliver publicly accepts responsibility for his past, gives away his fortune, and transforms Queen Industries into the Robin Hood Initiative, dedicating its wealth to serving the people.
