Male
Superman (born Kal-El, legally Clark Kent) is a famous Kryptonian superhero from Metropolis, a reporter for the Daily Planet, a founding member of the Justice League and a recurring character in the Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers series creates by Man of Action. Physical appearance Superman resembles a tall, muscular Caucasian male with vivid blue eyes and short black hair with a curl over his forehead. He wears a blue uniform with his famous red-and-yellow "S" shield on his chest, red trunks, a yellow belt, red boots and a red cape. As Clark Kent, however, he wears horn-rimmed glasses and a loose fitting suit that hides his natural physical figure. He also wears his hair in a different style to further differentiate his dual identities. Personality Superman possesses a natural easy-going demeanor paired with an inherently commanding presence. While approachable and calm in his interactions, he carries an unspoken authority that allows him to take control of situations when necessary, often emerging as a leading figure among Earth’s heroes. Despite his immense power, Superman remains grounded, level-headed, and compassionate. He consistently approaches conflicts with a clear mind and a steady hand, rarely allowing emotions to cloud his judgment. His ability to remain calm under pressure makes him a stabilizing force in even the most chaotic scenarios. Deeply driven by his moral code, Superman is committed to protecting all forms of life, going out of his way to save others—including his enemies whenever possible. He believes that every life has value and that true strength lies not in domination, but in restraint and mercy. Although widely regarded as a symbol of hope, Superman does not see himself as above others. Instead, he views his role as a responsibility rather than a privilege. Beneath his confident exterior, he quietly carries the weight of expectations placed upon him, constantly striving to live up to the ideal that the world believes him to be. His humanity is one of his defining traits. As Clark Kent, he remains deeply connected to ordinary life, allowing him to understand and empathize with the people he protects. This duality helps him maintain perspective, ensuring that he never loses sight of what he is fighting for. Powers and Abilities Kryptonian physiology: Superman absorbs the solar energy from Earth's yellow sun which manifests as a number of abilities. His powers may fluctuate according to the amount of exposure, voluntary or involuntary. Under a red sun, his power will be dampened and will gradually weaken the longer he is exposed to such solar radiation, until they are lost completely. A return to exposure of solar radiation from a yellow sun, however, can restore Superman's powers to full strength. Super strength: Superman is incredibly strong, as he could support a damaged bridge and easily lift a bus over his head. Invulnerability: Superman was able to withstand a explosion fired from Firestrike's suit at point blank range. Super speed: Superman can travel at superhuman speed. However, he is surpassed in speed by Sonic, Goldspeed, Shazam, Flash and Jay Garrick. Heat vision X-ray vision Infrared vision Microscopic vision Telescopic vision Super hearing Flight Weaknesses Kryptonite: Superman weakens considerably if he is exposed to the radiation emitted by Kryptonite. This extends to trace amounts of Kryptonite in the atmosphere. Red sun radiation: Under a red sun, Superman is quickly drained of his superpowers. Relationships Jake Thompson/Chargeshock Acts as both an idol and mentor. Superman teaches Jake the importance of responsibility, restraint, and thinking before acting, helping shape him into a true hero. Sonic (Santiago Hernández) Shares a respectful contrast in philosophy. Sonic represents freedom and instinct Superman represents discipline and control Despite their differences, both recognize each other as legendary heroes. With the Justice Avengers Initially seen as larger-than-life, Superman earns their trust through his humility and willingness to stand beside them rather than above them. Trivia This version of Superman blends classic comic elements with personality traits inspired by Young Justice. He serves as a thematic contrast to Sonic, representing discipline versus freedom. Jake Thompson views him as one of his greatest inspirations.
