First appeared in Fate #0 in 1994 and was created by John Francis Moore and Anthony Williams. Jared Stevens was a reluctant agent of balance to the Lords of Order and Chaos as Fate, imbued with the powers of the Amulet of Anubis and using weapons forged from the Helmet of Nabu. In the Post-Flashpoint Earth 13, he is a member of the League of Shadows.
