But as Batman's presence begins to change Gotham, the city changes in return. Powerful crime families, corrupt officials, and increasingly dangerous criminals emerge, forcing Bruce to confront threats unlike anything he prepared for. As Gotham descends deeper into chaos, Batman forms uneasy alliances with allies such as Commissioner James Gordon while facing a growing gallery of enemies who challenge him physically, intellectually, and morally.
