Guy Edward PearceΒ (born 5 October 1967) is an AustralianΒ actor and musician. He has receivedΒ various accolades, including aΒ Primetime Emmy Award and a nomination for anΒ Academy Award, twoΒ Golden Globe Awards, and aΒ BAFTA Award.
He started his career portrayingΒ Mike YoungΒ in the Australian television seriesΒ NeighboursΒ (1986β1989). Pearce received international attention for his breakout role inΒ The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the DesertΒ (1994). Subsequently, he starred asΒ Ed ExleyΒ inΒ Curtis Hanson's crime noirΒ L.A.
