Judd Apatowย (/หรฆpษtaส/; born December 6, 1967) is an American director, producer, screenwriter, and comedian known for his work in comedy films. Apatow is the founder ofย Apatow Productions, through which he wrote, produced, and directed his filmsย The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005),ย Knocked Upย (2007),ย Funny People (2009),ย This Is 40ย (2012),ย Trainwreckย (2015),ย The King of Staten Islandย (2020), andย The Bubble (2022).
Through his company, Apatow produced and developed the television seriesย Freaks and Geeksย (1999โ2000),ย Undeclaredย (2001โ2002),ย Funny or Die Presentsย (2010โ2011),ย Girlsย (2012โ2017),ย Loveย (2016โ2018), andย Crashingย (2017โ2019).
