Game of Thrones: Season 1
The action begins in the unified Seven Kingdoms of Westeros as the long summer ends and winter draws near. Lord Eddard Stark is asked by his old friend, King Robert Baratheon, to serve as the Hand of the King following the death of the previous incumbent, Eddard's mentor Jon Arryn. Eddard is reluctant but receives intelligence suggesting that Jon was murdered. Eddard accepts Robert's offer, planning to use his position and authority to investigate the alleged murder. Meanwhile, on the eastern continent of Essos, the exiled children of House Targaryen, which Robert destroyed to claim the throne, are plotting to return to Westeros and unseat the 'usurper'. To this end, Viserys Targaryen arranges the marriage of his sister Daenerys to Khal Drogo, the leader of 40,000 Dothraki warriors, in return for the use of his warriors in invading Westeros. For her part, Daenerys just wants to find a safe refuge far away from King Robert's assassins and her brother's scheming ambition. Finally, on the northern-most border of the Seven Kingdoms the sworn brothers of the Night's Watch guard the Wall, a 300-mile-long colossal fortification of ice which has stood for thousands of years. The Watch defends the Wall against the depredations of the lawless wildlings who live beyond, but rumor speaks of a new threat arising in the lands of perpetual winter.

Between evil and good, no one knows which one came first. One does not live without the other, just as the hero does not exist without his antipode. Othello, a charismatic and respected military general, finds himself torn apart by his own insecurities and the machinations of his trusted advisor, Iago. Consumed by jealousy, Iago manipulates those around him, planting seeds of doubt in Othello's mind about the faithfulness of his beloved wife, Desdemona. Luhrmann's bold visual style transports the audience into a world of sleek corporate offices, luxurious penthouses, and pulsating high society parties. The contrasting settings between the opulent upper echelons of society and the gritty underbelly of the city amplify the tension and the class divide that underlies the story. As Othello becomes increasingly consumed by his suspicions, the film delves into his internal struggle with identity, racism, and the fear of losing everything he holds dear. The Shakespearean language intertwines with modern dialogue, highlighting the timeless relevance of the play's themes. Desdemona, portrayed as an intelligent and independent woman, fights against the constraints of both her gender and her husband's doubts. Her unwavering love for Othello becomes a beacon of hope in a world clouded by deception and manipulation.

Macbeth
Macbeth, a disillusioned war veteran, receives a cryptic prophecy from a trio of mysterious witches that he will one day become the prime minister. Encouraged by his ambitious and manipulative wife, Mrs. Macbeth, Macbeth succumbs to his darkest urges and embarks on a bloody quest for power. Using a blend of contemporary and medieval aesthetics, Luhrmann masterfully creates a world filled with towering skyscrapers, neon-lit streets, and gritty urban decay. The setting emphasizes the stark contrast between the opulence of the ruling class and the desperation of those clamoring for power. As Macbeth ascends the corporate ladder, he becomes increasingly consumed by his thirst for power, his mind tormented by haunting visions and guilt. The film explores the psychological descent of the protagonist, portraying his inner struggle as a visceral and visually striking battle between light and darkness. Mrs. Macbeth, portrayed as a cunning and seductive femme fatale, pushes Macbeth to commit heinous acts to secure their place at the top. The couple's relationship evolves into a twisted dance of manipulation and deceit, with Mrs. Macbeth slowly succumbing to her own demons.

Hamlet

Episode 8: Leverage They in say in space, no one can hear you scream; a Kryptonian, however, can hear the faintest of whispers galaxies away. Mara had heard of the break-in at the Fortress of Solitude and the weapon the Young Justice now had in their hands, a weapon that could take away her powers permanently. Her enemies now had leverage. It was time to level the playing field. Mara and The Order descended to Earth and prepared for war with the Young Justice. More accurately, they prepared for their surrender as they gained the leverage they needed. The Order, being the ruthless heroes that they were, broke into Stryker's Island. With April hacking into a worldwide broadcast, The Order made themselves known to the world as they threatened to execute Leo's mother, Cheetah; Aurora's uncle, Captain Cold; Furor's father, Atrocitus; Calamity's mother, Blacksmith and Fred's mother, Catwoman. Mara's voice didn't show a shred of bluffing, she would burn them all; they were criminals after all. April's love for her girlfriend, for the woman she thought she knew, began to fade as she watched Mara fall further into darkness.

Episode 7: Choice As the Young Justice broke into the Fortress of Solitude in search of Golden Kryptonite, they instead found family photos of the Kent family, including pictures of young Mara visiting her grandparents in Smallville with Fred and Themis. Out of the many, one picture stood out; Fred froze and nearly cried as he saw a picture of Superman handing his daughter a red cape. Fred revealed that he always knew Mara would face the pressure of her father's legacy, especially since it was pushed upon her. Mara never had a choice to be anything but Superman's daughter, it shattered her into the violent woman she became, someone who wanted to break free from the shadows by any means necessary. It's the same reason Themis and Jax had turned towards darkness, they never had the freedom to choose who they wanted to be. Leo, Aurora, Calamity and Furor all asked why Fred had never turned. The young Wayne revealed that he was raised by both the benevolent Batman and the once-criminal Catwoman: because of their dualities, he was raised with the choice to fight for good or fight for himself. He was given the choice to become his own person, not another Robin. Fred believed that the Young Justice program gave the young former-criminals the first choice they ever had and used it to change for the best. As the Young Justice found the shard of Golden Kryptonite they finally began to have hope that they could defeat Mara and hopefully bring April back into the light.

Episode 4: Justice Served Blood had been spilt; Wonder Woman called for justice to be brought to the murderers of her daughter. On a nearby moon, April Quinzel happily spraypainted her name into the side of it, practically inviting the Justice League to come. The likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Hawkwoman and Martian Manhunter all travelled to capture April Quinzel but quickly realized it was nothing but a trap. The Order had grown powerful enough to defeat the Justice League. Hal Jordan refused to face down his own son as Sabueso easily dealt with the Martian and the Thanagarian. Sekhmet's godly powers were enough to outmatch Wonder Woman's just as April had used her parents decade-long feud to study all of Batman's moves; the Dark Knight had gotten older, sloppier, and weaker. As the Justice League found themselves outmatched, Mara held her father's neck in her hand. She told her father... "You failed". Those two words were more powerful than the reddest of suns; Superman had not only failed to defeat his daughter, but he failed her as a father. With the help of a Phantom Zone projector stolen by April while she was back on Earth, The Order effectively imprisoned the Justice League. No one could stand in their way.

Episode 3: Fear Jackson "Jax" Jordan was always a fearful person: fearful that he wouldn't live up to his family's legacy of both military honour and superhero heritage. He felt even greater shame when a Yellow Power Ring found his finger. He hid the ring for months, terrified of what his parents, Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris, would think of him. His fear only made the beckoning of the ring even stronger. On a quiet night, Jax finally gave into his fear and wore the ring and called out into the reaches of space for the one friend he knew would listen...Mara. With Justice League parents, Mara and Jax had known each other since their childhoods with Fred Wayne and Themis Prince. Mara ensured Jax that a Yellow Power Ring meant more than just the villainous Sinestro Corps, it was an opportunity to use fear for good, for their mission to achieve justice at all costs. Jax felt a sense of pride in his new power; Batman used fear as a tool, why couldn't he? Jax proudly embraced the yellow ring's power. He suddenly wasn't so afraid anymore.

Episode 2: Shazam! The young princess of Kahndaq was quickly becoming a subject of interest to the Justice League. Would she become a benevolent queen like her mother or a ruthless tyrant like her father, Black Adam? The Young Justice united to offer Sekhmet-Adam a place on their team and an opportunity to be a hero. Sekhmet was quick to dismiss Leo Minerva, Aurora Snart and Fred Wayne. She claimed the Justice League was an establishment of the past, soon it would be ruins like the once great pyramids. Sekhmet had heard rumors of The Order, a new league of heroes, one without limits. Fred knew a lost cause when he saw it; he left the princess to make her own choice and he would fight back if need be. As the Young Justice left, a shadow appeared from behind Sekhmet. Having listened to everything, April Quinzel offered the Princess of Kahndaq a place among The Order. With a demigod, a Czarnian, a Kryptonian and the daughter of a maniac on their team, the Order's strength was quickly growing.

Episode 1: Hijo de Lobo Sabueso had always heard stories of the Man of Steel: a boy from the stars grown to be the hero of the universe. He had also heard tales of his distant father's attempts to defeat the so-called Superman. Lobo's legacy as the Main Man in the galaxy had always overshadowed the 6-year-old Czarnian but now Sabueso had a chance to prove himself: a bounty for a Half-Kryptonian criminal's head. Rumor had it that Superior Girl had no weakness; her human DNA had cured her Kryptonian sickness to the glowing green mineral known as Kryptonite. Sabueso hunted the criminal known as Mara Kent down to a bar in the far reaches of space and prepared to rip her head clean off. Little did he know that she was not alone. The entire planet shook as Sabueso, Mara Kent and her girlfriend, April Quinzel brawled. After nearly killing the son of Lobo, Mara smiled. Maybe it was his bravery, maybe it was his stupidity, whatever it was Mara respected it. April and Mara happily invited Sabueso to join their crusade for lethal justice as The Order. The son of the Main Man gleefully joined.
