Clue (1985 Remake)
For fun, I don’t actually want them to remake this insanely hilarious and ridiculous favorite cult classic. :) A comedy mystery film based on the classic board game Clue. Six guests are invited to a mansion, all threatened by continuous blackmail by their host, Mr. Boddy. Mystery, intrigue, and hilarity ensue when their host is murdered and our eccentric characters are left to solve the crime. With an entertaining twist of three different endings- our classic characters search the mansion to find the murderer, the murder weapon, and the crime scene room to try to survive the night and evade not only the authorities, but also the blame of being the murderer themselves. A cult classic comedy mystery who done it. I’m also picturing the cast as 30-40 year olds, but will suggest and please contribute multiple ages, races, nationalities, etc! Have fun with it!
EPIC The Musical
EPIC The Musical is a full musical retelling of Homer’s The Odyssey. It was created, written, and composed Mr. Jalapeño himself, Jorge Rivera-Herrans; the musical gained popularity through TikTok. Of course Jorge and our other beloved voice talents do a spectacular job singing and acting as these characters, but my fan casting is for a what if. What if EPIC The Musical was made into a Hollywood musical movie? Which musical stars would star as our favorite characters? Have fun! 😃
Songs from the Deep
The sea holds many secrets. Moira Alexander has always been fascinated by the deadly sirens who lurk along the shores of her island town. Nothing Is Forgotten
In late 1950s New Jersey, Michael Daniels- or Misha Dainov, as he’s referred to by his doting Russian-Jewish grandmother- is at loose ends after high school, until he becomes the “Mad Russian” host of a nightly underground radio show. Spinning rock ‘n’ roll music and creating satires of USSR leader Nikita Khrushchev, Michael feels alive for three hours each night while on the air. To his surprise, these Khrushchev satires make the radio show a local hit, and unbeknownst to him, he is picking up loyal listeners half a world away in a small Soviet city. There, Yuli Kosoy, a war orphan, is smuggling coveted American goods into the country alongside her guardian, a black marketer who found her huddled in the forest after a German attack. Just as Michael’s radio show is taking off, he discovers his grandmother’s body in a pool of blood, shot to death in the candy store she had run for years. As Michael tries to figure out what happened, he finds that there is more to his grandmother’s life story than he ever imagined. Michael’s search for answers will take him to Munich, Paris, the South of France, and into Soviet Russia- where he meets Yuli, whose heartbreaking story connects to his own in surprising and important ways. -paraphrased from inside cover of “Nothing Is Forgotten” by Peter Golden

She seeks to answer the age-old question: Why are love and war eternally drawn to one another? But from her efforts of finding a conclusion that will please her jealous husband, Aphrodite uncovers a complicated tale of prejudice, trauma, and music, but most importantly that war is no match to the power of love. -paraphrased from GoodReads.
