After years of training, Kraven ambushes Peter Parker in a rainy New York City alley, shoots him with a tranquilizer dart, and buries him alive in a pauper’s grave. Believing he has proven his superiority by killing his greatest rival, Kraven dons a replica of the Spider-Man costume and begins a brutal crusade as a vigilante. He operates with terrifying efficiency, beating criminals to near-death and even capturing the cannibalistic serial killer Vermin, whom the original Spider-Man could never defeat on his own. During these two weeks, the drug-addled Peter Parker claws his way out of the earth through sheer force of will, driven by the memory of his wife, Mary Jane. When Peter returns, he finds a Kraven who is calm and at peace, having seemingly fulfilled his destiny and restored his family honor. Their arrival coincides with the emergence of Danger, the sentient embodiment of the X-Men's former training facility, who traps the trio in a lethal gauntlet of holographic simulations. These constructs force Rogue to confront her deepest traumas, including vivid manifestations of the Marauders and a hostile, phantom version of Carol Danvers. While Gambit and Xavier fight off opportunistic Shi’ar scavengers attempting to claim Danger as stolen technology, Xavier eventually breaches Danger’s programming and shifts his focus to Rogue’s mental fortress. With Danger’s help, Xavier systematically dismantles the psychic barriers Rogue had built to survive, finally purging the voices and personalities cluttering her mind. The procedure is a turning point that fundamentally alters Rogue’s mutant physiology; by removing the mental blocks that had prevented her from ever truly mastering her abilities, she finally gains full control over her power to absorb life force. Driven by a newfound desire to protect humanity from hidden threats, Hank assumes the secret identity of Ant-Man. His early solo heroics attract the attention of cold war espionage operatives and criminal minds, including the disgraced mad scientist Elihas Starr, better known as Egghead, who plots to steal Pym's research and turn his own insect allies against him. Fury: Season One
Nick Fury's decades-long battle with the Infinity Formula began in World War II when a Nazi landmine blast in France left him on the brink of death, forcing French partisans to rush him to the secret laboratory of Dr. Berthold Sternberg. To save the sergeant's life, Sternberg injected him with an experimental chemical compound that successfully repaired his body and stabilized his cellular structure, though Fury quickly fled after an American bombing raid destroyed the facility. Six months after the war, Fury received a package containing a serum dose and a letter from Sternberg, which he ignored until he woke up the next morning having aged nearly sixty years overnight. Panicked, Fury injected the compound and instantly returned to his youth, realizing that the surgery had permanently altered his biology and that missing an annual booster shot would cause him to rapidly age and die within days. Exploiting this dependency, Sternberg extorted massive sums of money from Fury every year, forcing the burgeoning operative to complete black-ops missions throughout the 1950s and beyond to afford the doses while watching his wartime friends age around him. This painful cycle of blackmail continued for decades until mobster Steel Harris murdered Sternberg to control the supply himself, prompting Fury to hunt down the syndicate in Las Vegas and reclaim his freedom. Though the formula was lost in the ensuing fight and Fury began rapidly aging once again, Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine managed to retrieve the final doses just in time to save his life, allowing S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists to synthesize the compound so Fury could permanently maintain his peak youth as a master spy.
Beta Ray Bill
In this canon animated series, the Korbinite race faces extinction after the fire demon Surtur destroys their galaxy. To save his people, the Korbinites engineer a champion, Beta Ray Bill, through cybernetic enhancements, tasking him with guarding their fleet of refugee ships as they drift through deep space in cryostasis. When the sentient ship Skuttlebutt detects an unknown vessel entering their sector, it awakens Bill to defend the fleet. The intruder is Thor, sent by S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate the massive alien presence. A misunderstanding leads to a fierce confrontation where Bill, physically formidable and highly skilled, manages to knock Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, from his hand. Because Thor remains separated from Mjolnir for more than 60 seconds, he reverts to his frail mortal form, Dr. Donald Blake. In the ensuing chaos, Bill discovers he can lift the discarded hammer and is instantly transformed, gaining the power and armor of Thor. Odin intervenes by teleporting both warriors to Asgard, where he orders a trial by combat on the volcanic realm of Skartheim to decide who the true owner of Mjolnir is. Bill wins the duel by maneuvering Thor into a lava pit, but rather than executing his opponent, he demonstrates a noble spirit and refuses to kill a helpless foe. Impressed by Bill’s honor and worthiness, Odin decrees that both are worthy and commissions the dwarves of Nidavellir to forge a new weapon for the Korbinite: the uru hammer Stormbreaker. Bill subsequently uses his new power to help Thor defeat Surtur, solidifying his role as a cosmic protector and oath-brother to the Asgardians.

Seeking to monopolize the world’s supply of vibranium to harness its near-mystical properties, Doom successfully infects the Wakandan leadership with nanites and forces T’Challa and Shuri into exile. While Storm faces imprisonment for her perceived corruption of Wakandan tradition, T’Challa is forced to abandon his role as king and rely on his tactical genius alongside allies like the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and Deadpool. As Doctor Doom consolidates his power and begins tapping into the nation’s sacred vibranium vaults, the conflict escalates into a global crisis. Realizing that Doom will stop at nothing to weaponize the resource and dismantle the sovereignty of his people, T’Challa makes a devastating and irreversible choice to protect the world. In a desperate act of defiance, he triggers a sequence that renders all processed vibranium on Earth inert, effectively destroying the economic and technological foundation of his kingdom to ensure Doom cannot wield its power. Marvel Knights
The Marvel Knights are a gritty, loosely affiliated team of street-level vigilantes who band together in the darker corners of New York City to tackle threats that standard superhero teams like the Avengers often overlook. Conceptualized primarily by Daredevil, the team brings together distinct antiheroes and lone wolves including Daredevil, Punisher, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Cloak, Dagger, and Moon Knight. Unlike traditional superhero squads, this group operates without a formal charter, official headquarters, or unified leadership, bound only by a shared drive to stop ruthless criminal enterprises that exploit the vulnerable. Their inaugural major threat comes in the form of Nicholas Scratch, a sinister sorcerer from the hidden town of New Salem, along with his brutal ally Ulik the Troll. Scratch orchestrates a chaotic assault on Manhattan, manipulating local gang violence and summoning mystical chaos to destabilize the city. Driven together by necessity, these reluctant heroes are forced to overcome their stark ideological differences, particularly their deep friction with the lethal tactics of the Punisher. As Scratch uses dark magic to turn the streets into a warzone, the Marvel Knights must combine their martial arts expertise, espionage skills, and sheer determination to push back the supernatural invasion. By ultimately defeating Scratch and his otherworldly forces, these solitary protectors prove that even the most fractured heroes can unite to safeguard their city from unexpected, apocalyptic dangers.
Rogue & Gambit

To infiltrate the secluded island resort known as Paradise, which masquerades as a high-end rehabilitation center for superpowered individuals, Rogue and Gambit must pose as a troubled married couple seeking professional relationship counseling. This forced proximity causes them to develop feelings for each other. As they navigate awkward therapy sessions with the resort's mysterious proprietor, Lavish, they soon discover that the facility is far more sinister than it appears. The staff is systematically harvesting mutant abilities to empower a new generation of soldiers, leaving the residents lobotomized and drained. Forced to rely on each other in a high-stakes environment where their powers are constantly suppressed or monitored, the duo is pushed to rediscover their mutual trust and lethal combat synergy. Ultimately, the mission serves as a crucible for their relationship, stripping away their defenses and forcing them to acknowledge that despite their history of hurt, they remain a formidable and inseparable team. By the conclusion of the season, they successfully dismantle the operation at Paradise, marking a pivotal turning point that stabilizes their bond and sets the stage for their relationship.
Nova 2
After years of acting as Earth's lone helmeted hero, high school student Richard Rider is unexpectedly summoned to deep space when the Xandarian Nova Corps detects his helmet and calls him to their homeworld. Arriving on Xandar, Rich finds the proud civilization under siege by a massive invasion fleet from the expansionist Skrull Empire, led by the ruthless Emperor Dorrek IV. Thrown into the deep end of intergalactic warfare, the Earth teenager is inducted into the ranks of the Nova Corps and forced to adjust to alien tactics, militaristic discipline, and the sheer scale of cosmic conflict. Alongside key alien allies, including the skilled warrior Powerhouse, the amphibious Comet, and the mysterious Crimebuster, Rich forms the Champions of Xandar to strike back against the armada. As the Skrulls deploy deadly planetary bombardments and stealth infiltrators to breach Xandar’s defenses and seize control of the planet's vast technological resources, Rich relies on his improvised Earth-style heroism to break predictable military stalemates. Pushing his control over the Nova Force to its absolute physical limits, he leads a daring counter-offensive directly into the heart of the Skrull flagship. Defeating the Skrull commanders in personal combat, Rich disables the flagship's command network and rallies the battered Nova Corps to drive the remaining invasion fleet out of Xandarian territory. Celebrating their victory, the Nova Council recognizes the young human's extraordinary bravery and officially elevates him from a rookie recruit to the elite rank of Centurion, forever changing his path as he realizes his true calling lies among the stars rather than back home on Earth.
The New Warriors
Haunted by the murder of his wealthy parents, Dwayne Taylor suited up as the armored vigilante Night Thrasher and set out to assemble a proactive team of young heroes who could take on threats traditional adult teams overlooked. He systematically gathered Vance Astrovik in episode 1 (Marvel Boy), in episode 2 a telekinetic mutant burdened by an abusive home life, in epiaode 3 Angelica Jones (Firestar), a microwave-manipulating mutant struggling with her powers, and in episode 4 Robbie Baldwin (Speedball), a reckless teenager trapped in a kinetic energy field. To secure a heavy hitter, Dwayne targeted Richard Rider, the former cosmic hero Nova whose powers were dormant; in episode 5, in a desperate gambit, Night Thrasher threw Rider off a high-rise building, successfully forcing his body to reactivate the Nova Force. Joined by Namorita, the fierce Atlantean cousin of Namor, the group had barely met before they were plunged into chaos when in episode 6 Terrax the Untamed, a brutally powerful former Herald of Galactus made of living stone, began a devastating rampage through New York City. Facing a cosmic threat capable of manipulating the earth itself, the inexperienced heroes initially struggled to coordinate, but through Nova's sheer strength, Marvel Boy's telekinetic defense, Firestar's high-intensity heat, Speedball's chaotic kinetic bounces, Namorita's aquatic power, and Night Thrasher's tactical mind, they managed to sever Terrax's connection to his cosmic axe and force the alien tyrant's defeat. Emerging victorious against an enemy that should have crushed them, the group realized their potential as a cohesive unit and officially christened themselves the New Warriors in the final episode, episode 8.
The Legendary Star-Lord 2
Continues directly on from the first movie. J'son explains that after Star-Lord destroyed his political power on Spartax, he turned to organized crime to rebuild an empire from the shadows and ruin Peter's life. Refusing to leave Peter to his fate, Kitty Pryde travels across the galaxy to infiltrate Mister Knife’s orbital fortress. They turn the dangerous prison break into their very first face-to-face date, using Kitty’s phasing powers and Peter’s element guns to fight off waves of mercenaries before escaping together. Mister Knife acquires the Black Vortex, an ancient celestial mirror that unlocks raw, godlike potential in anyone who submits to it. He uses it to empower his "Slaughter Squad" and aligns with Thanos’s ruthless son, Thane. Mister Knife uses Thane’s amber-encasing powers, amplified by the Black Vortex, to freeze the entire planet of Spartax in a solid chunk of amber, effectively enslaving the planet. Star-Lord, Kitty, the X-Men, Nova, and other space heroes launch a desperate counter-attack. To save his home planet, Kitty submits to the Black Vortex, transforming into a cosmic entity capable of phasing the entire planet out of the amber coating. With his plans shattered and the cosmic power neutralized, J'son is defeated, and Spartax is liberated. After surviving the cosmic ordeal, Peter proposes to Kitty Pryde under the open stars, and she says yes. Touched by how Peter saved them from his tyrant father, the citizens of Spartax refuse to let him leave. They officially elect Peter Quill as the Emperor of Spartax.
