Who I would cast for The Substance
Sailor Moon (Live Action)
A teenage girl discovers she's the reincarnated guardian of the Moon Kingdom when a magical cat grants her the power to transform into Sailor Moon, a warrior of justice. Usagi Tsukino balances homework and crushes with protecting Earth from dark forces threatening humanity. She recruits fellow students—each harboring their own celestial powers—to form a team of Sailor Guardians. Together, they uncover a sinister plot connected to their past lives and an ancient enemy seeking to plunge the world into darkness. As Usagi embraces her destiny as the legendary Princess Serenity, she must master her growing abilities while navigating first love, friendship, and the weight of saving the world. Blending magical transformation sequences with genuine emotion, this live-action adaptation captures the heart of the beloved series while grounding its fantastical elements in a contemporary setting where ordinary girls become extraordinary heroes.

A group of ordinary teenagers discovers they've been chosen as Earth's last defense against an intergalactic evil. When the evil Rita Repulsa threatens to destroy their small town, five unlikely heroes—a jock, a brain, a princess, a punk, and a ranger—must learn to work together and harness incredible powers granted by ancient Zords. Clumsy, insecure, and barely getting along, they transform into the mighty Power Rangers to battle Rita's growing army of monsters. As they master their abilities and bond as a team, the Rangers realize their greatest strength isn't their individual powers—it's their unity. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, these teens must overcome their personal demons and trust each other completely to save humanity from annihilation.
