The climactic battle erupts in orbit and across Oa’s surface as the Green Lantern Corps fight alongside John Stewart wielder of the Ultraviolet Spectrum, while Natasha dons her first armored “Starlight” suit powered by will-infused tech; amid explosive close-quarters combat against legions of orange constructs, Jessica lures Larfleeze into an arid wasteland formed from a shattered moon fragment, weakening him away from his hoarded energy reserves, and in their brutal duel she ultimately gains the upper hand but recalls Hal’s belief that willpower must inspire rather than dominate, choosing mercy over vengeance and offering Larfleeze coexistence instead of annihilation. Humbled but pragmatic, Larfleeze yields and forges a tense alliance with Oa against external threats seeking to exploit the emotional spectrum, stabilizing cosmic politics as John Stewart resumes a leadership role within the Corps; in the aftermath, Jessica retreats to Haiti to mourn Hal in solitude, finally burning her black funeral garments in a quiet act of release, and in a mid-credits scene Carol introduces Jessica to her young son, Hal Jr., the hidden child of Hal Jordan, revealing that the Emerald legacy will endure in ways no Guardian could ever predict.

When mysterious disturbances begin appearing across the planet—energy signals tied to the ancient The Source—Barda realizes that something far greater is unfolding. The situation worsens when Granny Goodness is mysteriously murdered, sending shockwaves through both the heroes and the remaining forces of Apokolips, beginning a mystery about who killed one of Darkseid’s most powerful lieutenants. The New Gods begin reuniting across the world, finding Infinity Man living as a Bollywood celebrity, Takion living peacefully with his family, DeSaad leading a remote community, Lightray living in the desert, and Grail traveling with Kalibak after suffering from a mysterious mental condition. As tensions grow, Steppenwolf emerges as the central threat, taking control of Apokolips’ remaining forces on Earth and hunting the New Gods one by one. During a brutal confrontation, Steppenwolf kills Kalibak in a devastating battle against the heroes, demonstrating his overwhelming power and forcing the team to realize they may be facing a far greater conspiracy. The team eventually discovers a shocking truth: Earth has become a focal point of cosmic energy connected to the Source, drawing the attention of Highfather himself. The heroes believe Steppenwolf is attempting to harness this power for Highfather so he can remain the ruler of Apokolips. As Steppenwolf continues hunting the New Gods in order to absorb their powers, the team prepares a desperate plan to stop the Source energy from awakening. In a massive final confrontation, the New Gods combine their powers, allowing Big Barda to transform the rising Source energy into stone and save the planet. Mister Miracle sacrifices himself to stop the Source energy from destroying Earth. During the conflict, Steppenwolf confronts Grail in a final battle where she ultimately defeats him. After the battle, the surviving New Gods are left divided. Highfather appears and judges their actions, believing they may have endangered the cosmic balance. He takes Infinity Man, Takion, and Big Barda away for a trial on New Genesis, leaving the remaining heroes uncertain about their future. In a mid-credits scene, far from Earth, DeSaad, Grail, and Lightray search the cosmos for the scattered members of the team. Their ship is suddenly intercepted by the powerful warrior Orion, the son of Darkseid, who offers his help in the coming war between Apokolips and New Genesis. In the final scene on Earth, James Rook makes a dangerous mystical sacrifice to protect reality, reclaiming his destiny as Nightmaster. As he recovers from the ritual, he is approached by John Constantine, hinting that an even darker supernatural conflict may soon emerge.

Blue Beetle: and the Legend of the Scarab

Jaime and Katy are taken into the criminal underworld, where they encounter the powerful crime boss La Dama, who secretly controls a network of metahuman fights and black-market alien technology; inside her underground arena, Jaime witnesses a shocking battle between Khalid Nassour and the Atlantean villain Ocean Master, revealing that the strange alien tech surrounding him is tied to a much larger cosmic conflict. La Dama makes a deal with Jaime and Katy, offering to help them reach the Black Beetles while secretly pursuing her own hidden agenda; soon after, they are ambushed by the terrifying armored warrior Carapax, a relentless enforcer serving Black Beetle whose cybernetic enhancements make him nearly unstoppable in hand-to-hand combat, leading to a brutal chase and fight sequence where Jaime struggles to control the Scarab’s weapons while protecting innocent people. Jaime and Katy are eventually captured and taken to a secret high-security prison facility where they discover a surprising prisoner: Ted Kord, the previous Blue Beetle, who reveals the truth that Jaime’s Scarab is alien technology created by the Reach as a planetary infiltration weapon designed to conquer worlds from within, and that Black Beetle intends to activate Jaime’s Scarab as a beacon to summon the Reach invasion fleet to Earth. With Ted’s help the trio escape the prison while Carapax relentlessly hunts them, leading to a massive battle where Jaime finally embraces the Scarab instead of resisting it, unlocking new abilities and defeating Carapax in a destructive duel that showcases the full power of the Blue Beetle armor. Jaime eventually meets the King of the Black Beetles, and after a long and tense conversation about the Scarab’s true purpose as a tool of planetary conquest, Jaime rejects the alien destiny imposed on him, leading to a massive fantasy-scale showdown between Blue Beetle, the Black Beetles, and La Dama’s warriors; after an intense battle filled with aerial combat, alien weapons, and Scarab-powered abilities, Jaime and his allies overcome the Black Beetles and win. In the post-credits scene, members of the Justice League contact Jaime and Katy through a secure channel; there Jaime nervously speaks with Shazam, Aquaman, and Khalid Nassour, who explain that the Scarab is sending a signal far beyond Earth and may be calling something across the cosmos. In the final end-credits twist, the real intentions of La Dama are revealed: she declares herself the new Queen of the Black Beetles and retreats into the shadows with advanced Reach technology at her command, setting up a much larger threat for the future.
