Justice League

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Man of Steel

The first installment in the DC Extended Universe. An alien child is evacuated from his dying world to Earth to live among the humans, his peace is interrupted when other survivors of his home planet invade Earth. The Dark Knight Rises

The third and final installment in the Nolan Batman trilogy. Bane, an imposing terrorist, attacks Gotham City and disrupts its eight year long period of peace, forcing Bruce Wayne to come out of hiding to don the cape and cowl of Batman once again. Green Lantern

Reckless test pilot Hal Jordan is granted an alien ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers that indicts him into an intergalactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action.

Watchmen

In 1985 where former superheroes exist, the murder of a colleague sends active vigilante Rorschach into his own sprawling investigation, uncovering something that could completely change the course of history as we know it. Rated R for strong graphic violence, sexuality, nudity and language. Released in 2009.

The Dark Knight

The sequel to the 2006 film. When the menace known as The Joker wrecks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham City, Batman must accept one of the greatest psychological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and some menace. Released in 2008.

Superman Returns

The fifth installment in the original “Superman” series. After spending five years in space, examining what remains of Krypton, Superman returns to Earth and finds that things have changed since he’s been gone and must once again prove himself important to the world. Rated PG-13 for some intense action violence. Released in 2006.

Batman Begins

When his parents are murdered, Bruce Wayne trains with his new mentor and becomes Batman to free Gotham City from corruption. Rated PG-13 for intense action violence, disturbing images and some thematic elements. Released in 2005.

Constantine

Supernatural exorcist and demonologist John Constantine helps a policewoman prove her sister’s death was not a suicide, but something more. Based on the DC comics character Constantine. Rated R for violence and demonic images. Released in 2005.

Catwoman

A shy woman, endowed with the speed, reflexes and senses of a cat, walks a thin line between criminal and hero, even as a detective doggedly pursues her, fascinated by both of her personas. Loosely based on the DC Comics character Catwoman. Rated PG-13 for action violence and some sensuality. Released in 2004.

Batman & Robin

The fourth and final installment in the “Burton Batman” series. In the film, Batman and Robin try to keep their partnership together even as they attempt to stop Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy from freezing Gotham City. Rated PG-13 for strong stylized action and some innuendo. Released in 1997.

Batman Forever

The third installment in the “Burton Batman series.” After the defeat of Penguin and Max Shreck, Batman continues defending Gotham City when he battles former district attorney Harvey Dent (aka Two-Face) and Edward Nygma (aka The Riddler) with the help of circus acrobat Dick Grayson, who becomes his sidekick Robin. Rated PG-13 for strong, stylized action. Released in 1995.

Batman Returns

The sequel to the 1989 movie. After defeating The Joker, Batman squares off with a deformed man called Penguin and a cruel businessman as they wreck havoc across Gotham while a female employee of the latter becomes the Catwoman with her own agenda. Rated PG-13 for brooding, dark violence. Released in 1992.

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

The fourth installment in the Superman franchise. The Man of Steel crusades for nuclear disarmament and meets Lex Luthor’s latest creation, Nuclear Man. Rated PG for sci-fi action and violence. Released on July 24, 1987.

Superman III

The third installment in the Superman series. When a synthetic Kryptonite laced with tar splits Superman into two different personalities, he must now come to terms what it really means to be Superman and defeat his evil counterpart. Rated PG for sci-fi action and violence and brief language. Released on July 19, 1983.

Superman II

The sequel to the 1978 film. After Superman gives up his powers to be with Lois Lane, he is unaware that Lex Luthor has escaped from prison and aligned with three Kryptonian prisoners to conquer Earth. Rated PG for sci-fi action and violence and some destruction. Released on June 19, 1981.
