Magical Pokémon Journey (Time Period-Accurate Anime Adaptation)

A girl named Hazel sets off to catch Pokémon after a scientist named Grandpa agrees to make a love potion if she catches Pokémon. Hazel is after the heart of a boy named Almond. Most of the Pokémon in the manga series can speak a human language. This is meant to be a time period-accurate fancast, so please only cast VAs who were active in the industry around the early to mid 2000s. Casting deceased/retired VAs is fine provided they were alive and active in the industry around that time.

Pokemon: The Electric Tale of Pikachu (Anime Adapation)

This manga follows the overall plot of the Pokémon: Indigo League and Pokémon: Adventures in the Orange Islands seasons of Pokémon the Series: The Beginning. However, the story is not very sequential, as only a few select episodes from the seasons were picked to be adapted into manga form. The manga concludes with Ash's victory in the Orange League. || Fancast for a modern adaptation for The Electric Tale of Pikachu. Professional VAs only, no celebs. English and Japanese voice options available. For a challenge, don't use VAs who previously portrayed the cast's anime or game counterparts.

Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior (4Kids Dub)

The Reverse World is a world that accepts pollution from the Real World in the form of poison so that the environmental balance of the Real World isn't destroyed by air pollution. Giratina looks upon Dialga and Palkia as its enemies, because the effects of contamination in the Reverse World have increased as a consequence of last year's time-space clash. Dialga, who is resting at a lake, is attacked from the Reverse World by Giratina and dragged to the Reverse World, and Shaymin, who is at the scene, also gets caught up. Escape is impossible for Dialga, but Shaymin manages to escape by absorbing the poison that's all over the Reverse World and exploding. When it does, it opens a hole in the Reverse World, and Dialga and Shaymin escape. While escaping, Dialga places the Reverse World in a time loop, closing it so Giratina can't enter the Real World.

Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai (4Kids Dub)

Ash and friends arrive at an idyllic village on their way to their next Pokemon contest, where chaos will soon erupt with the prophecy of two Pokemon Gods (Dialga and Palkia) and the arrival of a mysterious, seemingly deadly Pokemon named Darkrai, which has the power to distort space and time.
