THE LEGEND OF ZELDA

Navi awakens Link from a nightmare in which he watches a man in black armor pursuing a young girl on horseback, and is brought to the Great Deku Tree, who has been cursed by a "wicked man of the desert" and that Link must stop him. Before dying, the Great Deku Tree gives Link the Spiritual Stone of the Forest and sends him to Hyrule Castle to speak with Hyrule's princess.[6]: 6  At the Hyrule Castle garden, Link meets Princess Zelda, who believes Ganondorf, the evil Gerudo king, is seeking the Triforce, a holy relic that gives its holder godlike power. Zelda asks Link to obtain the three Spiritual Stones to enter the Sacred Realm and claim the Triforce before Ganondorf reaches it.

BATMAN BEYOND: YEAR ONE

The story begins in the then-distant year of 2039. His rogues' gallery, consisting of Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin, Riddler, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Man-Bat, Mad Hatter, Bane, Clayface, Catwoman, Ra's al Ghul and his daughter Talia, Phantasm, Ventriloquist, Firefly, Mr. Freeze, Hugo Strange, Rupert Thorne, Deadshot, Baby-Doll and Killer Croc are all either in prison, institutionalized, in exile, on the lam, reformed, have disappeared or are dead. He has also severed his ties with Superman and the Justice League.

DARK SOULS

The world of Dark Souls is a world of cycles. Kingdoms rise and fall, ages come and go, and even time can end and restart as the flame fades and is renewed. These cycles are linked to the First Flame, a mysterious manifestation of life that divides and defines separate states such as heat and cold, or life and death. As the First Flame fades, these differences also begin to fade, such as life and death having little distinction, and humans becoming Undead. The onset of an Age of Dark, the time when the First Flame has fully died, is marked by endless nights, rampant undeath, time, space, and reality breaking down, lands collapsing and converging on one another, people mutating into monsters, darkness covering the world, and the Gods losing their power. To avoid this and prolong the Age of Fire, the bearer of a powerful soul must "link" themselves to the First Flame, becoming the fuel for another age. If this is not done, the First Flame will eventually die, and an Age of Dark will begin.

GOD OF WAR

Kratos, a Spartan warrior who serves the gods of Olympus after being tricked into killing his own family by Ares, the God of War. He embarks on a quest to kill Ares, who had manipulated him into the act, and to find Pandora's Box to defeat him. This leads Kratos on a brutal journey of vengeance, where he uses the Blades of Chaos to fight his way through mythological Heroes across Time, Titans and The Gods of Olympus, ultimately becoming the new God of War himself.

HALO

Halo: Combat Evolved begins with the UNSC Pillar of Autumn emerging out of slipspace after the Fall of Reach, only to find a huge ring world—a "Halo"—floating in space. Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 (although his name is never mentioned throughout the game), a SPARTAN-II, is aboard the Pillar of Autumn when the ship comes under attack by the Covenant, a religious alliance of aliens and the archenemy of humanity.

UNCHARTED

May Cry series, Created and directed by Hideki Kamiya featuring the main playable character, Dante, a son of Sparda, as the main protagonist. The game opens with a cutscene where a woman named Trish bursts into Dante's shop and asks for help. The game is set entirely in and around a castle where both Trish and Dante go to on Mallet Island.

SYPHON FILTER

The plot centers on special agents, Gabriel Logan and Lian Xing, who are tasked by the United States government to apprehend Erich Rhoemer, an international terrorist. Gabriel Logan, one of the government's top covert agents, must neutralize the terrorists that threaten Washington D.C. and destroy a biological weapon that has been built to end the lives of millions of innocent people.

METAL GEAR SOLID

An advanced tank is stolen by a rogue next-generation special forces turned terrorist group named Fox-Hound and an elite former soldier of the group codename Solid Snake, is brought back from retirement in Alaska to retrieve Metal Gear

THE LEGEND OF DRAGOON

The Legend of Dragoon The Legend of Dragoon is a role-playing video game developed by Sony Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation in 1999 in Japan, 2000 in North America. Set in a high fantasy fictional world called Endiness, the game follows a group of warriors led by the protagonist, Dart, as they attempt to stop the destruction of the world. There are nine playable protagonists in the game.[8] The main protagonist is Dart, a warrior who is searching for the Black Monster.[5] Shana is Dart's childhood friend and love interest.[1] Rose is a warrior who teaches Dart how to fight as a Dragoon.[9] Albert is the king of Basil, a duchy within the game and Lavitz is his loyal knight who fights with a spear.[10] Meru is a dancer from a flower town and Kongol is the last of his species alive in the game's world. Haschel is an elderly man searching for his daughter and Miranda is a magician.[8]
