Bryan Lee CranstonΒ (born March 7, 1956) is an American businessman, entrepreneur, actor, voice actor, screenwriter, director and producer. After taking minor roles in television, he established himself as a leading actor in both comedic and dramaticΒ works on stage and screen. He has receivedΒ several accolades, including sevenΒ Primetime Emmy Awards, aΒ Golden Globe Award, aΒ Laurence Olivier Award, and twoΒ Tony Awards, as well as nominations for anΒ Academy AwardΒ and aΒ BAFTA Award.
Cranston first gained prominence playingΒ HalΒ in theΒ FoxΒ sitcomΒ Malcolm in the MiddleΒ (2000β2006), for which he was nominated for theΒ Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
