Dax Randall Shepard (born January 2, 1975) is an American actor. Shepard was an actor on Punk'd with Ashton Kutcher. In 2006, Shepard appeared opposite Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson in the comedy Employee of the Month as well as the Mike Judge film Idiocracy. During the same time, Shepard began appearing in more films and landed his first main character role in Let's Go to Prison, alongside Will Arnett. He also had a major role in Baby Mama. Shepard wrote the script for the Paramount venture Get 'Em Wet, in which he again appeared with Arnett. He was also in the 2010 movie When in Rome. He is now one of the main characters in the NBC show Parenthood, playing Crosby Braverman. In the bustling heart of the city, the Central Zoo is a haven for a lively group of animals who have spent their entire lives entertaining visitors. One day, due to a series of comical mishaps, a handful of zoo animals, consisting of Steve the Lion, Zoom the Zebra, Arnie the Aardvark, Chloe the Chameleon, and Percy the Parrot, are announced for a tour vacation. However, the truck crashes, causing their cages to be left behind at Green Acres Farm. Upon arriving at Green Acres Farm, the city-dwelling animals are in for a wild surprise as they encounter a quirky ensemble of farm animals, consisting of Frank the Cow, Bob the Chicken, Louis the Pig, and Shelia the Sheep. When a fanatic hunter discovers the zoo animals and their human-like traits and characteristics, he prepares to hunt them down and cause chaos on the farm. As the animals join forces to outsmart the hunter and restore order to the farm, they discover the true meaning of teamwork and friendship.
