A child of Japanese, Colombian, Jewish descent, Lumi Pollack is an emerging actress who has appeared in film, television, theatre, and national commercials. In 2023 Lumi played a lead role in One Big Happy Family, an independent film scheduled for release in 2024. Starting December 2021, Lumi was the lead in a one-year film project backed by Studio Canal and directed by renowned French Director Gilles Dee Maistre. Playing Autumn, in "Autumn and the Black Jaguar". Lumi spent 10 grueling months first imprinting with two jaguars in the jungles of Mexico, then filming in several locations, wrapping December 2022 in Montreal. The film premiered in Europe February 2024, with the North American release scheduled mid-2024. In 2021, Lumi was cast as Westyn the friendly witch of the west in the "Dee & Friends in Oz" animation series for Netflix (premiered February 2024), singing a unique original song in every episode. Again in 2021, Lumi guest starred on Disney's hit show Sydney to the Max. In 2020, at the age of 11, Lumi launched her acting career playing Amelia, the younger sister of Jenna Ortega in the critically acclaimed hit "The Fallout". Netflix released this powerful movie January 2022, telling the story of a high school student who navigates significant emotional trauma following a school shooting. Lumi has already demonstrated talents of various art forms beyond her 15 years, furthering expressing herself artistically as a singer and dancer who also plays piano and guitar. When Lumi is not in front of the camera Lumi is studying her acting craft, singing, reading, writing, playing guitar, hiking, biking, swimming, and playing with her dogs.
