Zoette Pinke is just your average big city girl except for the fact that she is internet famous when her parents die she is moved to a small country town where she goes to a new high school and learns how to deal with her mental issues by the new friends and experiences she goes through and gets. Such friends are Bug McGree, a Russian, punk jock with a secret passion for singing, Julia Hammond a proud, confident member of the debate group whose not afraid to express her opinions, and finally her best friend Miles Lea a cool sporty teenager who wishes to be an Olympic runner. While on this journey she learns who she is and how to accept that, which is her sexuality as LGBTQ+.
