Hallow Sam is Zathura’s enigmatic mission-giver, appearing as a flickering hologram stitched together from starlight and ancient code. Like a cosmic guide bound to the game, he can be summoned by the avatars when they are lost—but never when they are comfortable. Speaking in riddles, half-truths, and poetic warnings, Sam offers guidance without solutions, forcing players to think, cooperate, and grow. He refuses to simplify their path, believing struggle is essential to progress. Equal parts mentor and trickster, Hallow Sam exists not to help them win—but to help them earn it.
