Ever since her father's death, Zatanna has been burdened with guilt. When one of her performances goes awry, the magician finds herself accused of a crime she didn't commit. To clear her name, Zatanna begins to investigate, leading her to cross paths with Robotman, a former member of the Doom Patrol. Cliff also carries the weight of guilt, not daring to reach out to his daughter due to his current state. The two heroes team up when Dr. Terrence Thirteen informs them that his daughter, Traci Thirteen, is in danger, and that all of this seems linked to the person trying to frame Zatanna, Montague Kane. Zee and Cliff become the protectors of Traci Thirteen, and together, they discover Orqwith, a strange dimension inhabited only by scissor men. This dimension challenges all of Zatanna's beliefs about the magical world, exceeding anything she could have imagined. Kane is revealed to be Zachary Zor, a former Lord of Order turned agent of chaos. The trio manages to defeat him, notably using the Sword of Paracelsus. Following this adventure, Cliff decides to visit his family, and Zatanna stops dwelling in the past. Post-credits scene: Merlin proposes an alliance to Klarion and Circe to prepare for the impending threat.
