Ripcord is a former member of Duke's team until he left to spend his relationship with Scarlett elsewhere and was succeeded by Stalker. 1 year after Cobra ruled over the world, Ripcord, Scarlett, and Heavy Duty come back to help their fellow Joes in the final battle as they prepare to save General Hawk and restore freedom around the world from Cobra's rule and Ripcord is glad to fight alongside his best friend, Flint, in the final battle, just like good times.
