S2-E2: Demigod Even after a year, April, daughter of the Joker and Harley Quinn, continued to gaze at the stars in the hopes that her girlfriend might be gazing right back at her. Ever since, Mara Kent, the daughter of Superman, turned on the Young Justice and escaped to the darkness of space. As a Kryptonian-Human hybrid, Mara had every power of Superman without the weakness of kryptonite. The only thing that saved the Young Justice was Mara's love for April. A year has passed since then and April still held out hope that she might see the one she loved once more. Since then, she had become a fully-fledged member of the Justice League working with her other Young Justice graduates Leo Minerva, the son of Cheetah, and Aurora Snart, the niece of Captain Cold. Working with them was Themis, the daughter of Wonder Woman, who was as benevolent and as tough as her mother. Themis didn't trust those who were villain-born but she seemed to be warming up to her new teammates. As April stared into space, the Justice League called upon the Young Justice graduates. They were told of an opportunity: as graduates they would mentor the newest members of the program. Leo, Aurora and April were introduced to each new member: Furor, the bitter and rageful son of Atrocitus, Calamity Jesse, the punk daughter of the Trickster, and Rico Dorrance the young son of Bane.
