S1-Finale: Daughter of Steel. After killing General Zod, Superman and Lois feared that their daughter had gained a thirst for violence. They sent Mara away to be reformed by the Young Justice program but Mara's belief in swift and violent justice had never faded. When she saw that Vathos' ways couldn't be changed, she executed him without mercy. Mara Kent was a coldblooded killer. As her girlfriend April and the rest of her team discovered her true identity, she offered them the chance to join her crusade for justice, to punish the villains of the universe so that they don't ruin the lives of others. No girl would ever have to endure April's pain ever again. Mara stuck out her hand for her friends to join her but they all refused. Something snapped in Mara as she went on a rampage against her former teammates. April, Leo and Aurora took arms against Mara but they were powerless against her. It was only until April stood in front of her girlfriend's heating laser vision that Mara froze. Could she really kill April? As Mara's tears quickly disintegrated in the heat of her eyes, she flew into the cold vastness of space. Weeks went by and every night, April looked up into the stars hoping Mara was safe and doing well. Because of their heroics, April, Leo and Aurora were all granted pardons for their crimes once they turned 18 and became official superheroes connected to the Justice League.
