A message sent to unsuspecting victims' phones at precisely 2:13 AM carries a simple, eerie request: “Will you let me in?” Those who answer are never the same. After the sudden disappearance of her brother Sam five years earlier, Dr. Lila Travers returns to Black Hollow to unravel the mystery behind his vanishing and the sinister force lurking in the town’s digital darkness. When a group of college students encounters The Echo Chain during a reckless night in the woods, the horror is reignited. One by one, they begin receiving cryptic messages, haunted by a faceless, otherworldly entity known only as The Pale One.
