Luther Dixon (August 7, 1931 - October 22, 2009) was a songwriter, record producer, and singer. He achieved success in the 1950s and 1960s. Luther Dixon was responsible for helping to create The Shirelles' signature sound. He also was the one who discovered Tammi Terrell.
