Ben Vereen (born October 10, 1946) is an American actor, dancer, and singer who has appeared in numerous Broadway theatre shows. Vereen graduated from Manhattan's High School of Performing Arts.
A 35 years old white Jewish man named Ezra falls in love with Amira, a young black Muslim woman. They love each other and want to get married, but Akbar, Amira's Muslim traditionalist father tries to test Ezra to be sure he's the right man for his daughter.
