Kel-Zel was sent away from her home-world of Krypton only minutes before its destruction by her father, Jor-Zel who hoped she would escape the destruction and live a good life. She landed on planet Earth in the state of Florida, and was adopted by the Lane family, being given the name Lois. Years later after her father Gen. Samuel "Sammy" Lane dies in the heart attack clutching his arm in pain in the race to the barn, now an adult, she works as a reporter for the Daily Planet of Coastal City, but due to her Kryptonian origins, also has incredible superpowers she uses to help people and stop evil as the Superwoman and she and Atem and his friends team up to stop the villainous Lex Luther to use the missiles to blow up California, San Andres and Kenya, Africa to turn them into new continents
