He was a Fire Guardian dragon and the former leader of the four remaining Dragon Guardians and serves as a father-figure to Spyro, providing him with words of wisdom and leads him onto the right path, as well as teaching him about the element of fire. He is now the Chronicler and he revealed to be Spyro's father, Cynder's father-in-law and Nina, Ash and Frijir's grandfather and throughout the entire remake, he reunited with his now adult purple dragon son and his wife who is a new Fire Guardian dragoness and the first dragoness to be the Fire Guardian
