Like the late Marlon Brando did in the Superman Returns film, Brandon Routh was once again re-created by Rhythm & Hues using CGI with grey hair once again and in this film, Jor-El depowers his son the crystal chamber that harvest the rays of Krypton's red son and uses his final energy by touches his son's shoulder and repowers him and dies as he backs away.
