Lana's boyfriend, Jason Teague (who succeeds Whitney Fordman), having followed her to Smallville, takes a position as the assistant football coach. The two try keeping their romance a secret from the school and Gen. Sam Lane informed Lois that she has failed her senior year and must enrolled at Smallville High to get enough credits to graduate with her cus, Chloe, and also Clark, Atem and all their animal/pony friends/allies old and new. Abby Fine, a student with a bad case of acne, turns to plastic surgery at the hands of her mother Dr. Elise Brown to enhance her looks and boost her popularity. Things go awry when she discovers that her kryptonite-enhanced beauty causes harm to anyone she kisses. Lois finds out what happened and is nearly put through the same experiments by Dr. Brown before.
